He is Awesome!

I had a play with the Twiddleybitz colour challenge this month, it was truly irresistible... The texture and colours really grabbed me!

They were so perfect for these pics I took of DS#3 in front of the Autumn leaves.
Of course all the chipboard elements are Twiddleybitz.
Basic Grey patterned paper
Tim Holtz ditress stains provided the colour
and some b&w Bazzill, dymo and October Afternoon alpha stickers.

Thanks so much for dropping by

New papers

Alison Ellis Designs has a new paper range out, all in A4 size. Perfect for card-making and equally suited to scrapbooking, beautiful for formal projects or anything else you fancy. The silver and gold foils are gorgeous but you have to see them in the flesh to appreciate fully. I have used a b&w pattern here as a mat for my photo.

It needs something else..... not quite sure what though, any suggestions?

Flooding rains...

We had a very wet summer just gone, even with all the cleaning out and clearing of debris from Dumaresq Creek over recent years we still managed to have enough flooding for kayakers to ride the waters....twice.
A perfect opportunity for a day out and photos. I kept the page very simple, it's all about the pics :-)

short on time

It's school holidays and I'm a bit short on scrappy time so this challenge over at Scrap Your Crap was perfect. I used some washi tape and kraft packing tape for a quick and easy background on this page about one of our favourite spots in Ireland.

Chevron love

A little more chevron....
Inspired by the current theme at Paper Issues (hop on over and link up your own, remember also, you can get 20% off at the PI Etsy shop by using the code PEGGLES at checkout!)
Follow the little bloghop and be in the running for a chevron kit of your very own.

I am loving this pattern lately, this page has a little more than the last.
Another one I created at Nundle last weekend, the yellow is Tim Holtz Distress Stain with a Crafters Workshop template. I used up some really old Heidi Swapp letters for the title (matted on a scrap of brown paper bag). I love the Kaisercraft clock rub-ons too.

Thanks for dropping by :-)

PMS

Better late than never right?
I had this layout done for the new challenge blog PMS but forgot to upload it before I went away, too excited I gues :-)
I used some of the new AED papers as a patchwork background and covered them in Glimmer Mist (marshmallow and chalk). The chippy elements are from Scrapmatts.

Peg @ The Dag

I had a fabulously relaxing and creative weekend in Nundle scrapping my little heart out with some gorgeous gals from Quirindi. I took my 'cuz' with me and met all her friends too. Organised by Vicki from the shop at Tamworth, it's my current favourite retreat and I try to get there twice a year.
One of the pages I created fits in with the current theme at Paper Issues - Show Me Your Chevron, it is of Cuz's wee boy in his new bike helmet. Chippy cogs from Scrapware, Tattered Angels Charcoal Chalboard mist, Crafter's Workshop template, Tim Holtz 'Fired Brick' Distress stain, and I think the paper might be Pink Paislee.

For lots more chevron ideas and a BLOGHOP with PRIZES go and check out Paper Issues, the gals are
so incredibly full of inspiration!
